Diamonds – Balls of Bounciness for WP8 and Android

Last week Unity released a preview of their new UI tools. Before now it has been an absolute nightmare to do any form of UI without buying expensive plugins. So I was very excited to try it out.

When I was a kid I used to play a game called Diamonds, and I really loved it. I’ve always wanted a mobile version of it, so decided that I should just make it.

So this game is the product of a few days hard work, and lots of bug fixes 🙂

One feature I really like is the global leaderboards. When you finish a level it’ll show how you are ranked against the rest of the world. This adds quite a bit of replay value because it’s fun to try gain your place back. I may look at adding an option for push notifications when someone beats your high-score (presumably this would only happen for the top ~20 people in each level).
Give it a try, and let me know what you think!
Also, this happens to be my first ever Android app!
